I believe wood carving comes to me naturally because of my ancestral history in wood carving. I started honing my skill at age 12, and later attended School of Arts, College of Education in Ila Orangun to master my skill. I registered my business, Yoruba Traditional Wood Carving, in 2011 before relocating to Osogbo in 2013 where I opened my gallery. Due to people’s fear of wood carvings in the past, I decided that my style would be modern versions of antiques.
